New York, NY, May 1, 2008: Cherry Lane Music Publishing Co. Inc., whose roster includes the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend and Wolfmother, has announced a worldwide co-publishing agreement with indie rockers moe., one of the top touring acts of the jam band scene who are critically acclaimed for their songwriting skills. In their 18 year history, the quintet has toured extensively and headlines annual festivals moe.down and Snoe.down, which have featured hundreds of diverse acts. In 2008, the band released their twelfth recording, "Sticks & Stones," to rave reviews. In addition, moe. has been the recipient of four Jammy Awards.

Richard Stumpf, SVP of Creative Services & Marketing at Cherry Lane commented: "moe. represents the best of the jam band scene. Their innovative songwriting fuses so many musical styles and results in explosive live performances. As the jam band genre is often underworked in music publishing, we are excited to represent a band as esteemed as moe. and bring their music to another level."

"I'm very excited about our deal with Cherry Lane," said moe. guitarist Al Schnier. "We have an opportunity to showcase our songwriting skills and perhaps have our songs covered by other artists. I like the idea of our songs taking on a life of their own."
