New York, New York, August 13, 2008: Cherry Lane Music Publishing Co., Inc. and Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. continue to promote the catalog of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll to key entertainment and music executives, film and television music supervisors, advertising and video game creatives with unique products featuring Elvis’ music and lyrics.

Since acquiring 100% administration of the iconic catalog in 2007, Cherry Lane has aggressively promoted it through new and innovative ways. This summer, timed to coincide with the annual Elvis Week celebrations at Graceland in August, Cherry Lane and EPE jointly distributed custom designed Elvis Presley iPod ® nanos to music executives in the film, TV, advertising and video game industries. The iPods contained over 240 songs, including well known hits and catalog gems, conveniently divided into thematic playlists specifically designed for the music execs. As an added bonus, video clips from the "’68 Comeback" and 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii" television specials were included.   The songs are published solely by Cherry Lane, making it easy to license the songs.

Earlier in the year, Cherry Lane and EPE sent customized Elvis "Magic Answer Balls" to music and entertainment executives.  Instead of standard answer chips, recipients got responses to questions based on lyrics, song titles, or famous phrases associated with Elvis. Response to these "Magic Answer Balls" was so favorable it will become an EPE licensed commercial product.

It is estimated that Elvis Presley has sold over one billion record units worldwide, more than anyone in record industry history. The music icon’s catalog remains a big seller and his music is routinely heard in film, television and commercials.
