News ImageNew York, New York, March 19, 2008: Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company, Inc., publishing administrator to numerous film companies such as the Weinstein Company, DreamWorks Animation SKG, DreamWorks Pictures, Lakeshore Entertainment and Walden Media, have announced a long term, worldwide administration agreement with film and television production company Scout Productions.

Founded by Emmy and Oscar award winning partners David Collins and Michael Williams, Scout Productions is best known for its highly original TV and Film projects. From their worldwide hit Bravo series, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy to the Oscar winning Errol Morris film Fog of War, Scout prides itself on creating stories well told. Other Scout TV projects include the upcoming series Sordid Lives, ABC’s How To Get The Guy, ABC Family’s Knock First and the highly successful international series Big Ideas for a Small Planet which has just finished filming its second season for the Sundance Channel. Scout’s films include the new Brad Anderson feature TransSiberian, Session 9, Mr. Death and Six Ways to Sunday.

In announcing the agreement, Mike Connelly, Executive VP of Business Development at Cherry Lane, commented, “Scout Productions produces some of the most creative, heartfelt film and TV projects and Cherry Lane is very pleased to be working with their music.”
