Cherry Lane celebrates the music of legendary Quincy Jones at intimate Listening Party

New York, NY November 6, 2007: Cherry Lane Music Publishing Co. Inc., whose roster includes the catalog of Elvis Presley and John Denver, held an intimate listening party for top film, TV and advertising executives at the home of the legendary Quincy Jones on October 18th in Los Angeles.

During this special event, music supervisors and executives from the film, TV and advertising communities gathered to experience the magic of Quincy’s music while listening to catalog gems and Quincy speak about his music. Guests were also treated to a tour of Quincy’s home and shown rare footage from the filming of The Color Purple, which Quincy scored and co-produced. With this unique opportunity, Cherry Lane gave influential music supervisors and executives a chance to appreciate the breadth of Quincy's rich catalog which encompasses more than five decades of music.
