Genzo is a rarity today - a producer/songwriter/composer who can jump from genre to genre with equal ability, as evidenced by his diverse body of work. However, he is not merely versatile. He commands respect with each of his forays into varying genres, be it Pop, R&B, Latin, Rock, Gospel, Dance, or Soundtrack work. This respect and success is evidenced by his Grammy-‐nominated work on R&B artists Mary J.Blige and Aretha Franklin, his work on the Contemporary Gospel artist Phase II (also Grammy-‐nominated), as well as his worldwide hits, “Aqui Estoy Yo,” by Luis Fonsi, which won him a 2009 Latin Grammy for Song of the Year, "Don't Say Goodbye/ Si Tu Te Vas," by Paulina Rubio, "Yummy," by Chelo featuring the legendary Too Short, "It Still Matters" by the Gospellers featuring Howie D of the Backstreet Boys, and his dance success with the legendary Diana Ross. Genzo's first foray into the Latin market with EMI Latin's DJ Kane garnered him a Grammy nomination for Producer of the Year. Genzo plays keyboards, guitars, bass, does all his own programming, and typically records the artists he is producing as well as tracking all instruments and occasionally mixing. He is classically trained and has studied formal orchestration. Much of his instrumental and scoring work can be heard in shows such as America's Next Top Model, Pimp My Ride, Cribs and the Hills to name a few. Besides writing and producing, Genzo also focuses on developing new artists. He has landed deals for artists with MCA Records, Yab Yum Records, Edmonds Records Group, J Records, Sony/BMG Records and Universal/Motown Records. After spending time in Los Angeles working with other big name producers Babyface and David Foster, Genzo has relocated to the New York area and built a new studio where he is capable of tracking and mixing final product. Genzo has done a partnership deal with MTV for one of his current artists, Just Kait, and is currently administered by Cherry Lane Music Publishing.
