Formed in spring of 2009, ROBOPOP is a production/songwriting team consisting of Brandon Lowry and Dan Omelio signed to Cherry Lane Music Publishing (The Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Jordin Sparks, Will.i.am).
Starting as a collaboration between two session players, the team developed quickly, producing a number of songs that gained the attention of major labels and artists. With Dan playing drums, guitar, and bass, and Brandon playing keys and engineering, the duo handles all of their production with a unique style and personality. Both classically trained musicians, the duo can seamlessly work in any genre including pop, rock, hip hop, dance, and indie.
ROBOPOP have worked with acts such as Stephen Jerzak (Universal Republic), Days Difference (Universal Motown), We Should Whisper (Universal Republic), Empire Isis (Monumental/Universal Motown), Jonas Sees In Color (Glassnote), Warren Haynes, John Legend, among others. They also have written for artists such as Justin Beiber, Jessica Jarrell, Kelly Clarkson, Lea Michelle, Colbie Calliet, Vaughn Anthony, Forever The Sickest Kids, Cobra Starship, Cee Lo among many more. Media pitches/placements include Captain Morgan, Verizon Wireless, NHL, MTV, Style Network, Cadillac, and Sunkist.
With the two 26 year olds at the helm, ROBOPOP has quickly gained momentum and critical acclaim and are poised to make a lasting impact on industry.
