François Lamoureux has been working in the music industry for close to 25 years as a composer/songwriter, artist, studio musician, producer and mixer. He has composed music for HBO and TNT movies such as Ignition, 36 Hours To Die and other TV series and specials. He has produced, recorded and mixed diverse artists such as Pete Townshend, Ben Harper, Deep Purple, The Who, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Cowboy Junkies and Slipknot to name a few.

Before concentrating his time and efforts on producing, François was a first call session guitar player. His guitar and co-writing skills were heard on well over a hundred commercials for brands such as Budweiser, Ford, General Motors, Buger King, Nestlé and others. During the late 80’s and through the 90’s, François toured with hard rock bands The Frayed Edge and Brasse Camarade performing over 500 concerts throughout North America and parts of Europe charting songs on both continents. François also toured as music leader for international French pop star Isabelle Boulay. His experience and background in the industry only serves to support his first love of music, which is writing songs. François Lamoureux graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from McGill University where he studied classical and jazz music as a saxophone player and a guitar player.
