EDIZIONI CURCI S.r.l. is one of the oldest, most famous and active Music Publishing Companies in Italy. Formed in 1860 by CURCI family members, over 140 years later it is still run by the family, which defends the Company’s independence.
Despite its profitable activity in the field of classic, concert, opera, pedagogical and educational music, EDIZIONI CURCI is famous worldwide for its assiduous presence in the field of domestic pop music. Its catalogue lists over 35,000 titles. In the '30s EDIZIONI CURCI began expanding its activity beyond the Italian borders by introducing well known American music to Italy and by circulating leading international hits produced under the influence of US, French, German and English films.
EDIZIONI CURCI has always closely followed Italian songwriters, including Giovanni D'Anzi, Pippo Barzizza, Domenico Modugno, Pino Donaggio, Toto Cutugno, Giorgio Gaber, Bruno Canfora, Vasco Rossi and Tito Schipa Jr.
Worthy of mention in the field of classic, opera and concert music are the equally famous Pietro Mascagni, Francesco Cilea and Franco Mannino. EDIZIONI CURCI also owns international rights on many works by the famous composer and bandoneon player Astor Piazzolla.
